Accounting & Finance Systems Specialist
Finance and accounting have been a constant companion since my apprenticeship as an industrial clerk and have formed the common thread of my professional life ever since.
During my career, I have gained extensive practical experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, banking, fixed asset and general ledger accounting, as well as in account reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing, and financial analysis. I have worked in both medium-sized companies and internationally oriented corporate environments.
With increasing experience, it became clear to me that many accounting difficulties do not stem from a lack of expertise. Often, the causes lie in unsuitable processes, separate data sources, unclear responsibilities, or repetitive manual work.
Therefore, I have specifically expanded my accounting experience to include ERP systems, data migration, system integration, Excel/VBA automation and management reporting.
Today I combine professional accounting with technical implementation and develop solutions that are arithmetically correct,
are transparently structured and actually usable in daily workflows.
I'm not a typical software developer who looks at accounting processes from the outside. I come from an accounting background myself and develop the tools that I felt were missing in my daily work.

My focus is on data migration, system alignment, process design, and the controlled connection of different data sources.
Automation & Reporting
Using custom-developed Excel/VBA applications, I transform recurring manual tasks into structured and reproducible processes.
This results in practical solutions for accounting, controlling, reporting, data verification and management information.

For me, an application isn't finished simply because it works technically. It must also be technically sound, reliably verifiable, and understandable for its users.
Therefore, I always consider the entire process: from the data source through processing and validation to the finished result.

Both areas pursue the same goal: to make financial processes more understandable, secure and efficient.
